What began as a personal journey — the creation of a bridal look for its founder’s own wedding — soon grew into an international beauty house renowned for its modern, luminous approach to makeup and hair.
The name GUYSSOU comes from the Persian word گیسو, meaning “silky long hair.”
A poetic symbol of femininity and grace, it reflects the very essence of our philosophy: beauty that flows naturally, delicately and with purpose.

The Founder – Shakiba Edighoffer
A jurist for over fifteen years before embracing her true calling, Shakiba Edighoffer embodies the harmony between precision and creativity.
Born into a Persian family where beauty has always been celebrated as an art of grace and expression, she grew up surrounded by poetry, colors, and elegance.
From a young age, she would style and beautify her loved ones; gestures that, over time, revealed an innate sensibility for harmony, light, and detail.
Her background in law taught her structure and discipline; her Persian heritage and lifelong passion for beauty nurtured her artistry and emotion.
Both worlds shaped her unique vision: one where rigor meets refinement and where every creation tells a story.
As the Founder and Artistic Director of GUYSSOU, she now leads a team of professional artists trained in France and internationally, ensuring that each creation, from bridal beauty to backstage fashion, reflects both technical mastery and soulful artistry.
