Services

GUYSSOU provides beauty services including makeup, hairstyling, facial and beauty treatments, lash and brow services, consultations and other related services presented on its website or booking platform.

The essential characteristics, duration and price of each service are displayed before the booking is confirmed.

Appointment durations are indicative and may vary according to the service and the individual requirements of the client.

Specific practical conditions applicable to services are set out in the Booking & Service Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms & Conditions.

Prices

All prices displayed to consumers are expressed in euros (€) and include applicable French VAT unless expressly stated otherwise.

The applicable price is the price displayed at the time the booking is made.

GUYSSOU reserves the right to modify its prices at any time. Any price modification will not affect bookings already confirmed.

Booking and Formation of the Contract

Bookings may be made through GUYSSOU's online booking system or by any other method expressly offered by GUYSSOU.

Before confirming a booking, the client is provided with the essential characteristics of the selected service, its price and the applicable booking conditions.

A booking becomes confirmed once the required payment has been successfully processed and the client receives confirmation of the appointment.

The appointment is then reserved specifically for the client.

Payment

At the time of booking, the client may choose, where this option is offered, either:

  • to pay 50% of the total price as an acompte within the meaning of French law; or

  • to pay the full price of the service.

Where an acompte has been paid, the remaining balance must be paid no later than the day of the appointment using one of the payment methods offered by GUYSSOU.

Online payments are processed through GUYSSOU's authorised payment service providers. GUYSSOU does not directly store the client's full payment card details.

Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests may be made up to 48 hours before the scheduled appointment.

Where a cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the appointment, any amount paid for the cancelled service will be refunded.

Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 48 hours before the appointment are non-refundable, and all amounts already paid will be retained by GUYSSOU.

These cancellation conditions apply independently of the client’s statutory right of withdrawal, where applicable.

Any new appointment following a late cancellation may require a new booking and payment.

The specific conditions relating to late arrivals, no-shows and the practical performance of services are detailed in the Booking & Service Policy.

Statutory Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with French consumer law, where a service is booked remotely, including online, a consumer generally has a period of 14 days from the conclusion of the contract to exercise their statutory right of withdrawal without having to provide a reason.

The client may exercise this right by sending GUYSSOU a clear and unambiguous statement expressing their decision to withdraw before the expiry of the applicable withdrawal period.

Where the client requests that the service begin before the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, the client expressly requests the early performance of the contract.

Where a service has been fully performed before the expiry of the withdrawal period, after the client's prior express request and acknowledgement, the client loses the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable French law.

Where performance has begun at the client's express request but has not been fully completed at the time the client exercises the right of withdrawal, any amount legally due for services already provided may remain payable in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits any mandatory statutory consumer right.

Client Responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information when booking and for informing GUYSSOU of any information relevant to the safe and appropriate performance of the service.

The preparation requirements, health and contraindication provisions and other practical obligations applicable to appointments are detailed in the Booking & Service Policy.

Refusal or Discontinuation of a Service

GUYSSOU may refuse, adapt, postpone or discontinue a service where it cannot reasonably or safely be performed, including for reasons relating to health, contraindications, hygiene, inappropriate behaviour or failure to comply with essential preparation requirements.

The consequences applicable to payments will depend on the circumstances and on the client's statutory rights.

Liability

GUYSSOU undertakes to provide its services with professional care and in accordance with applicable professional standards.

The result of beauty services may vary according to individual characteristics including skin, hair, lashes, initial condition, preparation and other factors outside GUYSSOU's reasonable control.

GUYSSOU shall not be liable for damage resulting from inaccurate or incomplete information provided by the client, particularly where relevant allergies, sensitivities, medical treatments or contraindications have not been disclosed.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation would be prohibited by applicable law.

All content appearing on the GUYSSOU website, including texts, photographs, images, videos, logos, branding and graphic elements, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Personal data collected in connection with bookings and services is processed in accordance with GUYSSOU's Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
